one of my best friends and roommates left a week ago to live in san fransisco. two months ago he got to meet eli, another one of my best friends who was living in north virginia and now moved in vancouver.
they only got to hang out for a week before eli went back to virginia for two months, but through that week they connected personally and creatively.
jeremy inspired eli to start writing again and eli inspired jeremy to start using chants in his raps among other things. (for example, jeremy recorded a track before he left which had the chant “diamonds on my dick, condoms on my grill”)
it was sad seeing new friends say goodbye to each other. the day jeremy left for san fran was two days before eli returned to vancouver.
on jeremy’s last night in van at four in the morning, he wanted to make a shout out video for eli.
